Day in the life of an Internal Comms and Engagement Coordinator:

As part of our People team, you’ll help shape the day-to-day employee experience and make sure our internal communications run smoothly and reach the right people at the right time. Here’s what your role will involve:

• Keeping our internal communications calendar up to date in collaboration with the wider People Team
• Writing and editing internal communications with clarity and consistency, always striking the right tone for our audience
• Coordinating internal events, from virtual Townhalls to in-person learning sessions, in partnership with teams across the business
• Managing content on our internal learning platform—making sure everything’s fresh, relevant, and engaging
• Supporting key People projects by handling essential HR admin, communications planning, and coordination alongside your colleagues
• Owning benefits-related admin and helping employees with day-to-day questions
• Assisting with internal surveys, from drafting communications to rolling them out and summarising the results
• Keeping our policy tracker current and helping to draft and roll out routine policy updates
• Processing expenses and raising POs for things like employee benefits, charity drives, and People team projects
• Using our Teams channel to keep everyone in the loop—sharing updates on everything from wellbeing initiatives to ways to get involved across the company

• Support timely communication and smooth-running events that connect employees to the business and each other
• Make a visible contribution to the success of People team initiatives
• Encourage a culture of engagement and inclusion by supporting key awareness 

What do you need to do this job:

• An HR qualification would be desirable, otherwise we would be happy to support the successful candidate through their CIPD qualification
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Organised and proactive with good attention to detail
• Able to build relationships and coordinate with multiple teams
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office (especially Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams); experience with SharePoint or MS Forms is a plus
• Enthusiastic about getting involved in a wide range of People team activities and developing your career within HR
